Everyone's heard of Burt's Bees lip balm, but using their original product, I got a strange response from an ex boyfriend of mine. He insisted his lips were burning after kissing me shortly after I used the lip balm. I had always enjoyed the tingling that the lip balm had given my lips, but my ex didn't. After running out the other day, I went to the store to see what I could find for a new (at least to me) Burt's Bees product.
I picked up a tube of Honey lip balm, it looked interesting enough. After I got home, I put some on my lips. No tingles. However, it has a pleasant honey smell, and I enjoy that a lot. My current boyfriend hasn't said anything bad about this new lip balm. I also find that it hydrates my lips better... Perhaps the honey helps hold in moisture?

All in all, this was a worthwhile purchase. I enjoy it. Perhaps you'll check it out, too, the next time you're searching for a nice, hydrating lip balm.
